his voice has been heard by the pope just recently in the vatican. gordon founded the house of blues "gospel brunch" has had the lead in "glory","ain't misbehavin","five guys named moe", and "smokey joe's cafe". and now can be heard sharing the lead vocals with the professor on stage with bellevue cadillac.
Gentlemen Joe Cooper
Gentlmen Joe was the Bands first lead singer. his vocals can be heard on black and white, prozac nation, and take out, out takes. grew up outside detroit, and sang gospel with his family until moving to new england. fantastic showman and writer as well. gentleman joe retired from show business and lives in massachusetts.
charlie "the count" sorrento
the count, charles sorrento joined bellevue cadillac in january 2004. he is a professor at berklee college of music, and was the lead singer of the legendary colwell winfield blues band who toured with Led Zeppelin's 1st American tour in 1969, played at the filmore west, and had rave reviews in the April, 1969 Rolling Stone magazine record reviews, and was a big influence on the professor for original bellevue cadillac band. little known fact is colwell winfield band was Van Morrisson's band for the album Moondance! in a 1985 article van said "i found a band that was able to play what i heard. i did the woodstock festival and the band on it was the Colwell Winfield blues band and that was most of the band that played on the album Moondance, it was from that group". belive us, we are honored!!!
