Tim "Miles" Long
Tim took up keyboards back in high school, when his buddies were forming a band and needed an organist. Having grown up in a musical household, Tim had a drum set at the time but had learned to play the household organ his parents owned, so he traded his drums in for a Farfisa organ and has been in performing bands ever since. Tim toured the rock'n'roll club circuit in the 70's, then came to the Boston original music scene in the 80's, with power-popster Ray Paul &RPM, techno-groovers Ball& Pivot, and beach party rockers The Stompers. Tim then took a break, and went back to rediscover the blues with a local pub band called the Persuaders, and sat in on blues jams with Bellevue Cadillac. Seeing tremendous potential for Bellevue to explore early jazz, swing, and gospel through Dougs songwriting, He climbed aboard the Cadillac for a long ride.
